We’re on a mission to provide an exciting and efficient way to manage equipment, and we’re looking for a driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to help us grow!

What You’ll Do:

As a BDR at Cheqroom, you will play a critical role in driving our growth by identifying and generating high-quality outbound leads. You’ll use your creativity and determination to connect with potential customers across multiple channels and help position Cheqroom as the go-to solution for asset management.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation: Proactively generate outbound leads through an omni-channel approach, including social media, email campaigns, and phone outreach.
  • Customer Engagement: Research and identify key decision-makers in target industries (media, production, entertainment, higher education, broadcast, and large corporations) to establish initial contact and generate interest.
  • Pipeline Management: Qualify leads, set appointments, and pass opportunities to the sales team, ensuring a smooth handoff process.
  • CRM Expertise: Manage and update lead activity and progress in Hubspot to maintain an accurate and organized sales pipeline.
  • Tool Mastery: Leverage tools like Sales Navigator, LinkedIn, Instantly, Surfe, and other outbound sales platforms to optimize lead generation and outreach efficiency.
  • Metrics Focus: Meet or exceed monthly activity and lead generation targets while consistently evaluating and improving your strategies.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience: 2+ years in a business development or outbound sales role, preferably in SaaS or related industries.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with our target industries (media, production, entertainment, broadcast, higher education, and corporate sectors) is a plus.
  • Tech-Savviness: Preferred experience (not required) Hubspot, Instantly, Linkedin Sales Navigator, Linkedin prospecting and Surfe is strongly preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages tailored to different audiences.
  • Proactive Approach: A self-starter with a proven track record of achieving targets through creative and strategic outreach.
  • Social Selling: Confidence using platforms like LinkedIn and other social media to connect with and engage prospects.
  • Resilience: Ability to handle rejection, learn from feedback, and continually refine your approach.
